14) SEXUAL ABUSE

In the name of Jesus and by the blood of the Lamb, we speak destruction to every sexual abuse that is occurring in any child's life. We command it to cease, and pray that the abuser will be caught, brought to justice and be delivered from this act by the POWER OF GOD. In Jesus name. Lord, we pray for those children who have been traumatized by this abuse, which has led to one or more of the following behaviors: thumb-sucking, bed-wetting, sleep disturbances, eating problems, unwillingness to participate in school or social activities, performance problems at school, anger-outburst, self-destructive behaviors such as alcoholism or drug abuse, anxiety attacks, a feeling of worthlessness, low self-esteem, withdrawal and mistrust of adults and an abnormal or distorted view of sex. We pray that these victims will not feel ashamed, bad nor responsible for the molestation, but will know that it was never their fault, but that the shame belongs to the abuser. Help them Lord, that they will know that they are beautiful and loved by God. We pray also that these victims, will get the care, help and counseling they need to overcome this trauma, and will be protected from other abusers, in Jesus name, amen. Help us Lord, as parents/guardians/caregivers/teachers/men and women of God, to look out for our children, guard and protect them from these abusers and all harm, in Jesus name amen.

CHILDREN are "an HERITAGE from the LORD." Ps. -27:3 God places great value on them and speaks often in His word about caring for the weak and needy-and this includes at-risk and abused children. MEN and WOMEN OF GOD, LET US PRAY DAILY FOR OUR CHILDREN, WORLD-WIDE.
