SEVEN STEPS TO ANSWERED PRAYER-Day 7

Step-7 MAKE EVERY PRAYER A STATEMENT OF FAITH

Have you, or do you know someone who has been standing on God's Word for something but decided to give up and begin speaking doubt because the answer did not come at the time you/they expected?

We must not allow ourselves to be distracted nor discouraged but constantly confess the answer to our prayer-as it lines up with the Word of God, and do not shift into UNBELIEF. (regardless of the circumstances or our feelings)

While fighting lupus, a family member-who was praying with me for healing: after a few years said to me, "why don't you accept it as your thorn in your flesh, like Paul? (meaning-I should stop believing for my healing and to accept the lupus) My,my, my, an anger arose in me at the devil and l loudly said, I AM NOT ACCEPTING THIS AS A THORN IN MY FLESH! I AM HEALED! BY THE STRIPES OF JESUS I AM HEALED!" And I kept confessing the words-" BY HIS STRIPES I AM HEALED," multiple times each day.

I look back today and say to myself- had I accepted that word (thorn in the flesh) and confessed those words, I would have been a dead woman.

I thank God that the Word on the inside of me-the God on the inside of me gave me the STRENGTH TO FIGHT! This individual got tired of praying, waiting and fighting. They felt sorry for me and hope those words would help. They allowed the devil to deceive them while quoting words from the bible.

Sometimes, we have to get into God's Word and fight for ourselves. (physically we may be alone but spiritually WE ARE NOT ALONE!) So let's FOCUS on God's Word, CONFESS it daily and FIGHT the good fight of Faith.

Kenneth E. Hagin said-" You can think and say words of faith just as easily as you can think and say words of doubt and unbelief. It is thinking thoughts and speaking faith words that leads the heart out of defeat and into victory."

Let's remember that "..............GOD HATH DEALT TO EVERY MAN THE MEASURE OF FAITH." (Rom.12:3) Therefore, every saved child of God can receive answers to their prayers.
