Whatever He says to do - Do It!
Have you heard these words before? Yes, it's in the Bible (I won't tell you where it is. I'll let you do the research). Has God been talking to you about doing something? Have you been putting it off, or have you simply decided not to do it? Some Saturdays ago, as I was about to leave the house to go to the nail salon, The Lord said to me, "Take a copy of your book with you." My response was, "I am just going to get my nails done." The Lord repeated Himself. I said, "Okay Lord" and took a book. On my way to the salon I prayed," Lord, I need my nails to be done with excellence, you choose the right person to do my nails. When the technician began to work on my nails, she told me one of her clients just lost her nephew to lupus. A young man in his early 20's. I said "that's very sad. Lupus is a terrible disease. I know what it is like. I had it and I am now healed." She looked at me in surprise and said, “isn’t lupus a disease you can't be healed from?" I said medically it is, but do you believe in God? In miracles? "Yes" she responded, and added, "My sister has lupus." As soon as she said those words, the Lord said to me, "Bless her sister with a book." I then asked her if her sister believed in God/ knew God. She said "yes, and she prays a lot." I also asked her if her sister likes reading, she responded, "yes." I told her about the book I wrote and that God told me to bless her sister with the book. In shock and with tears in her eyes, she said, “God told you that? You’re gonna make me cry." I said "yes He did, tell your sister she is important/special to God and He is thinking about her, He heard her prayers and the same God that healed me can heal her, He wants to heal her. This young lady kept repeating, "God told you that?" While shaking her head in disbelief. When I took the book out of my bag she exclaimed, "You have it here!" When she completed my nails, she said may I hug you? We both hugged with tears in our eyes. She said, "I don't go to church as often as my sister, I have to start going back." I left there saying "Thank you God." I know God ministered to this young lady. I later said to myself, "What if I did not do what God asked me to do?" I then prayed, "Lord help me to know your voice and to always obey you." I later smiled and said to myself, I asked God to give me a technician who does nails well. He answered that prayer and gave me someone to minister to. (I got the message God; it's not all about me, it's about souls.) In the future I will ask "give me someone that needs to be ministered to today." I encourage you my friend, Whatever God says to you, do it. You may never know of the many lives that will be positively impacted by your obedience. Be blessed!
